With the exception of a handful of champions, the people running our country, states, and cities are making all the wrong choices. It’s time to strengthen our movement to make government accountable to our communities, not the top campaign donors.
This two-day training will cover how to organize a canvass and phone bank in your neighborhood in order to build relationships with neighbors, understand what they care about and invite them to take action to support legislation and campaigns that put people and the planet first. There is a sliding scale registration fee ranging from $25 – $100. REGISTER HERE. No prior experience necessary. Questions? Contact Hannah at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Corporate Agenda, Neoliberalism and the Dominant Narrative
Tuesday, November 14 (6pm-8:30pm); Location TBD
Curious how our campaigns for police accountability, diginity for people living with mental illness, our efforts to close corporate tax loopholes and to stop the displacement of low-income people through gentrification are all connected? Join us for a training and discussion to understand how our current economic system, driven by the need to generate corporate profits, creates the symptoms our different issue teams tackle. We will unpack the corporate agenda, draw connections between our campaigns and discuss messaging that will help us align our work to be more effective. REGISTER HERE. You must be actively involved with wtith ONE Northside to participate. Contact Ebony at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
