| This spring we will knock doors, go to community meal programs, talk to parents at CPS pick up, and more, to hear from our neighbors about the issues that matter most to them. We want to hear from over 1000 North Side neighbors about their most pressing concerns and invite them to join our organization and shape the campaigns we take on. We need your help to get this done. On Tuesday, March 18 at Membership Council we will launch our listening campaign with trainings and the opportunity to sign up to volunteer! This is a great way to meet your fellow neighbors and build relationships, something we need more than ever as our enemies try to divide us. We will also have a brief meeting where dues-paying Individual Members and Institutional Members vote on ONE Northside business. The focus of this meeting will be the listening campaign though, and everyone is welcome to attend to help us launch this exciting new campaign! | We are deeply sad to share the news of the passing of one of our team, Violence Prevention Outreach Worker Deion Geiger. Executive Director Jesse Hoyt shares this message: “We remember and honor Deion Geiger, a dedicated member of the ONE Northside violence prevention team. Deion worked tirelessly to create safer communities, driven by his deep love for his team, the people around him and his unwavering commitment to change. His passion and efforts will not be forgotten, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who fight for peace and justice.” Deion will be deeply missed by all of us at ONE Northside, and his impact in our communities will be felt for years to come. |
