Today our team joined our allies in the IL Revenue Alliance and leading state elected officials to demand that the Illinois General Assembly and Governor Prizker do their part to fight back against the Musk-Trump Administration’s plan to cut health care, destroy Social Security, and stoke a recession that will hurt everyday people — all to pass trillions in tax breaks for Trump-aligned billionaires and cronies.Illinois has the opportunity to reject harmful program cuts on the local level and start to turn around our state’s regressive tax structure by passing the needed revenue solutions that ensure the wealthy pay their fair share. We can stand up to the billionaires and corporate agenda and win more resources invested back into our communities! You can learn more about the IL Revenue Alliance’s proposals at our blog.

Thanks to all who came to our Membership Council earlier this week! What a powerful meeting! We welcomed new members, discussed campaign updates, and enjoyed each other’s company. We also launched our listening campaign to hear from 1000 North Side neighbors about what matters most to them!Gracias a todos los que asistieron al Consejo de Socios esta semana. Fue una reunión intensa. Dimos la bienvenida a nuevos miembros, debatimos las actualizaciones de la campaña y disfrutamos de la compañía de los demás. También pusimos en marcha nuestra campaña de escucha para conocer las opiniones de 1.000 vecinos de North Side sobre lo que más les importa.
