About North Star
North Star is ONE Northside’s flagship annual fundraising event. This year we are celebrating our tenth anniversary as an organization, marking the historic moment when Organization of the North East and Lakeview Action Coalition merged to form the new, powerful ONE Northside in 2013.
This is the first year that our annual fall fundraiser is known by a new name: North Star. This name change reflects our vision for ONE Northside: an organization that unites the diverse communities of the North Side and helps them move as one.
